In spring 2022, my colleagues in the Bakersfield College Art Department nominated me for the Norman Levan Faculty Colloquium, and I was chosen for fall 2022.
Two professors are chosen each year to make presentations: one in the fall, one in the spring. In addition to the presentation, I was awarded a plaque and a stipend.
October 7, 2022 was the big day. I discussed the origin of new ideas, showed images of my current creative endeavors, and touched on the environmental effects of citrus growing worldwide. What a great way to end my teaching career.
